Read 1 Samuel 28 – David is called into service by king Achish. He puts David over his entire security detail, as the kings personal body guard for life. Saul learns of this impending threat, and makes one more foolish choice. He continues rejecting the Lord. Instead of seeking the Lord with repentance, he seeks out a medium to summon Samuel from the dead! The medium is reluctant and then downright fearful when she realized what she had done.
